To remedy my aching loss from the Princeton Reverb, which has become a permanent resident in the rehearsing space of Satarma, I build its little brother: the Fender Vibro Champ.
It has everything from its bigger sibling, except the size! 5W instead of the Princeton’s 14W, it is nonetheless equipped with a spring reverb and tremolo.
With a Jensen C10R, whereas I used a C10Q in the Princeton, it has a very bright and particularly pleasing sound. The cabinet construction is the same as the Princeton (19mm pine), but the colors now bring a more funky period of the Fender history, and brightens my studio with every note <3.
